I love ceramics, polymer clay, tinkering and chickens! I have both an Etsy and an Artfire shop. I also enjoy checking out other shops and occasionally doing a Sneak Attack or Ambush by way of Featured Artist Friday posts.

List It Tuesday: My Bookshelf is an ever-changing, evolving list
My list this Tuesday is of the books on my handmade shelves. Locally made- by my husband. :)
I have A LOT of interests! Most of my books are packed up right now because we are preparing for a move. In order to stage our house for selling, I had to pack most of them away. *sigh* I am such a bibliophile!
We are in the process of transitioning from a small house with no yard in town to a house with 2 acres. Hence, the books on poultry and chickens especially. I am a little obsessed with building my chicken empire. I also have the book, "Artful Blogging" on my shelf, which I have thumbed through but intend to seriously crack open first as soon as I am caught up with my Artfire listings. Another obsession is handmade bath and body. I love to pamper myself and I really need to learn how to make my own, if for nothing else than to better understand and appreciate the process. And because I love learning new things!
And books on Bob Marley (totally dig his tunes!), North/South Korea, Art Education. I think that's all that is hiding out on my bookshelf right now. How about yours?

Books, we're swimming in them! Finally sorted all them by subject after our move. Took awhile to get up the gumption to tackle that project! Two huge storage cabinets stuffed with religion, history, politics. Closet full of music along with a 4 draw filing cabinet of sheet music. Plus two other units one for marketing, advertising & business - the other for crafting, projects, how to's and cooking! It's like a mini Barnes and Nobles over here. Best wishes on your move, I know what a daunting task it can be :)

Hey Crafty! Congratulations on the new place. I hope you sell your house super fast. We have tons of books packed away too. Would love to have a bigger place so they can all be on shelves.
ReplyDeleteCome check out my blog. I just posted what I did with my 'giant white wall'.
Best,
Lisa
Hoosier-Mamma: I had all of our books sorted out just shortly before we decided to put the house up for sale. My organizational skills were squandered and wasted. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteTesoro: I checked it out. Awesome idea!
